| You know, I thought I'd seen the ultimate over-the-top Christmas home decorations in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, but on a recent swing through Pelham Gardens in the Bronx I stumbled on a house that would make Liberace revolve in his grave if he knew about it. This place is so kitsch it comes out hip on the other end of the hole. | |||

| According to the New York Post, the Garabedian home at 1601 Pelham Parkway has been doing this extravaganza since 1973. It uses enough electricty to operate 25 hair dryers and uses forty 500-watt halogen lights for evening illumination. Everything is made of fiberglas. | |||
