| Lifting the title from one of my favorite deejays, longtime WNEW and present WFUV staple Pete Fornatale, I decided to cull some of Forgotten New York's now-hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pictures that have been left behind for whatever reason for this page. I shot some of them long ago, hence the poor resolution; I couldn't really get good quality on pictures till about 2001 when I got the latest Photoshop that had a Save For Web feature, and most are standalone pictures that I couldn't gang up as part of a feature page. Some of them describe mysteries I haven't been able to research, or themes I'd like to explore more in depth at a later date.
This is gonna be one of those Wednesday night quick & dirty pages... If you'd like more "mixed bag" pages, just let me know, since I think I can do several. FNY, though, will continue to be feature and theme-driven. |
